Emma is one of our members who smashed the Life Plan, and is now a coach for us at Team RH! We caught up with her to see how she managed her journey.

I've always been the fat girl. I absolutely hated the way I looked and it gave me horrendous anxiety.
I went to see the doctor and he basically told me that if I didn’t change my lifestyle and continued to put on weight, I would develop diabetes and die young.
I was eating crap constantly. It got to the point where I could barely get off the sofa.
The rare times I would leave the house to take the kids to the park, I’d have to rest half way, as I'd get that out of breath, I'd feel like I was going to throw up. It just wasn't fair for on kids, I had to do something about it.
I joined Slimming World and would eat kilos of pasta every day, because it was "free food". I knew absolutely nothing about nutrition, so I continued to do what my consultant kept telling me. I asked them why I was getting heavier, and they said it was because I wasn’t eating all of my ‘syns’. That just didn’t make sense to me.
One of the mums in the school yard told me to look up Team RH on Facebook. I started to interact with Richie's posts and told him I was going to join the next month. He responded, telling me to sign up there and then, and offered me a free life-time membership on the spot.
I started the next day, in September 2019. It was a bit daunting at first but after speaking with the coaches on the app for support, I started to really commit to the plan.
I've got so much more energy now, as the plan has taught me how to fuel my body properly.
I still eat foods I enjoy, as long as I stick to my 2100 calories, and track my protein and fibre on the app.
I literally can't believe how much weight I've actually lost. I look and feel so much better now and it's such a confidence boost being able to watch my weight go down each week on the app.
One of the best things on the plan is that I can actually eat chocolate and cake as long as it fits within my daily goals. My family is also becoming healthier and their diet is improving too. I use the recipes on the app for inspiration and make my own burgers and pizzas instead of ordering them in, to make sure they're still having food they enjoy.
3 years ago, I would dread walking my kids to school. Now I’m hitting 15,000 steps everyday and going to the gym 3 times a week.
I'm seeing such a change in my body. I've not only lost fat, but I've actually started to tone up and gain muscle.
