I was so unhappy with how I looked and felt.
I had to work on my negative mindset. I knew if I kept going the way I was going, I'd have severe health problems, which would cause major problems in the future.
I just never understood nutrition or calorie intake, and every time I had a bad day, I would turn to food for comfort.
I'd go to the gym but diet was so bad, that I just wouldn't make any progress.
I tried Slimming World but they just seemed to push their products and snacks onto me, they didn't encourage me at all.
I saw one of Richie's videos pop-up on my feed and he spoke a lot of sense.
After a lot of waiting around, I signed up in May 2019.
I now have way more energy than before because I'm actually fuelling my body with 2000 calories, and not starving myself of sugar and carbs.
I'm so much more active now, I'm lifting much heavier weights and walking everywhere to hit my 20k goal.
When I first saw 2000 calories as my goal, I had a bad feeling it wouldn't work.
I trusted the Life Plan and began to realise that 2000 calories is totally normal. You can go way over those calories with a binge, which is what I was doing before, on weekends.
I'm no longer afraid to up my calories and I'm now reverse dieting.
My confidence has grown so much.
I now walk into the gym and think 'I don't care, I love my body'.
I'm proud to show off my physique in front of others.
